Attention all juniors! Are you interested in three outstanding opportunities? Now available on Parent Square and Student Square are three selective and nationally recognized programs that can strengthen leadership development and college applications.
The first program offered is the Young Leaders Summit Program (YLS). The YLS program is an entirely free college summer program for high school juniors. YLS is designed to give high school juniors the tools they need to succeed in applying to top universities and setting a course for academic and career success.
Some of these requirements include being a high school junior, attending a high school in the United States, having a 3.0 GPA or higher, and other requirements that can be found on Parent Square.
The next program is the NASA GeneLab for High School Students (GeneLab). The GeneLab program offers knowledge and skills for NASA’s space biology research. You will be able to explore how biological systems are affected by spaceflight conditions.
This program will consist of 12 weeks of training; all materials needed will be provided by the program. This program allows participants to strengthen their college applications, extracurricular profiles, and resumes.
The last program offered is the Summer Science Program. The Summer Science Program is a five-week residential program focused on astrophysics, biochemistry, etc. The program will be hosted at university campuses where students are flown for the summer.
For more information on these programs, please check out Claire Contreras’ post on Student Square or Parent Square.
