As the school year comes to an end, MECA’s seniors have started to hear back from colleges. Many have even started to receive their acceptance letters and have made their decision to commit.
These are MECA’s seniors who have decided to commit:
Angelina Te

100 percent committed and accepted to University of California, Berkeley is senior Angeline Te. Angelina will be majoring in Astrophysics.
“I’m looking forward to making new friends and meeting new people.”
Emily Lassiter

Accepted and committed to University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is senior Emily Lassiter. She will be majoring in both Inhumane Biology and Society.
“I’m looking forward to diving into college life, my biggest goal is to really put myself out there by meeting people from all over and getting caught up in the school spirit. I’m basically just looking to find a good balance between working hard on my future and making a ton of memories along the way.”
Katelynn Lee

With a full ride scholarship senior Katelynn Lee has made the decision to commit to Claremont McKenna College. Katelynn intends to major in Psychology.
“I’m looking forward to the student life and getting involved in clubs.”
Ava Roman

Senior Ava Roman who has been accepted to Cal State Fullerton has plans on attending there, majoring in Communications.
“I’m looking forward to having more freedom.”
Tepochtli Cervantes

Senior Tepochtli Cervantes has been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona with his decision to attend there he also plans on majoring in Electrical Engineering.
“I look forward to learning how to do hands on projects at my college because they’re known for teaching their students to learn using hands-on methods.”
Reyli Salazar

Accepted to University of California, Irvine is senior Reyli Salazar. Reyli plans to attend there and major in Mechanical Engineering.
“I look forward to joining clubs, having more freedom, making new connections, the dorms and just overall the new environment.”
Kayla Iniguez

Accepted and planning on attending University of Southern California is senior Kayla Iniguez. Kayla will be majoring in Economics along with a pre med track.
“I’m excited for the new environment of the campus, the architecture, the village and also the fact that it’s in LA and it has a really good business school that I can take classes through.”
Lauryn Marin

Soon to be dorming and living on the campus of University of California, Berkeley is senior Lauryn Marin. Accepted and fully committed Lauryn plans to major in Political Science.
“I’m most looking forward to living on my own, creating my own schedule and getting access to great academic opportunities.”
