Freshman Carlos Miguel Hombrebueno, who is very interested in Hoyoverse games, attends Mt. SAC Early College Academy (MECA). Before Hombrebueno became a Timberwolf, he attended Walnut Grove Intermediate School, finding his experience there interesting and absorbing.
“I think that my middle school experience was okay and would rate my middle school at around a six or seven out of 10. I overall just think that the middle school experience was just cool, chill, and [has taught] me a lot,” said Hombrebueno.
Hombrebueno is especially interested in games that are made by Hoyoverse Studio video games. Out of all the Hoyoverse video games that were created, he has the most interest in “Zenless Zone Zero.” Whenever Hombrebueno has extra time in class or his free time, he would always be on his phone playing ZZZ, the reason he loves playing ZZZ is that he has a big passion for operating animated characters in a fictional world.
“The reason that I like to play ZZZ is that I think that the game is full of art and creativity, operating the character that you get, I think that is a very free experience, like you can do just anything in the game with your creativity,” said Hombrebueno.
Hombrebueno isn’t interested in any type of sport, but whenever he has classwork or homework, he finishes it immediately. Although he is undecided about what he wants to do in the future, he will get everything in high school that is required, so that he will have all the requirements for whatever he wants to be in the future.
“I want to get everything done early, not only because I want to have more free time. But also, I think high school is a very important period of time in my life because it could determine what I am going to do in the future and build the base of my future career,” said Hombrebueno
Hombrebueno is the person who always makes everyone laugh. He always makes friends by showing his interesting side, and that would make people want to talk to him.
“I just think that making people laugh is like a way of being friendly to me, and I want to make people I hang out with have the same feeling as I do, so I make a lot of jokes trying to make people laugh, and like feel positive,” said Hombrebueno.
