“My name is Makenna Chung, and I am a sophomore/in 10th grade.

In my future position, I plan to expand ASB’s reach over the school and improve the in-class organization. This can be done by applying a stricter grouping system and clear schedules on when things need to be done. Additionally, school-wide communication could use significant improvement, which can be achieved by emphasizing an upgrade to our Publicity committee.

A fun fact about me is that I love to fold origami. This has been a long-time hobby of mine, and my creations range from a small butterfly to a large paper phoenix. I believe it is a really calming activity, despite all the failed attempts.

My main goal in life is to work towards a stable job as a math professor while also still being able to partake in side hobbies like playing instruments. With this in mind, I’m currently taking multiple classes to earn my AA in mathematics and aim to shadow one of my old professors next semester.”
