“My name is Emma Tavera and I am in ninth grade.

In the future I am planning to make sure everyone’s voice feels heard and acknowledged. I wish to advocate for the sophomore class next year and make sure that people can feel like their wants and needs are being heard and that I will do my best to get them met. I am just a student now and I hope that if I do get this position I can help improve and make my fellows peers more invested in events and dances we have. I wish to be the right hand man and help get posters done and just do small task to help make a difference in ASB but also helping keep other informed around campus. Since most people never really know what is happening around campus. I want to make people seem like they can come talk to me about anything and know I will try my best to make it happen within my own power.

A fun fact about myself is I love playing drums. I love music and musicals. My favorite is Hairspray or Hamilton. I love playing and watching soccer as well as volleyball. My favorite soccer team is LAFC.

For my future goals I wish to become a Nurse Practitioner and go to the University of San Francisco to get my Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I love the medical field so it has always been a future goal of mine to go into it.”
