Sidney Baise is a freshman here at Mt. SAC Early College Academy and wanted to come to this school for the academic opportunities it offers. Another reason he wanted to come here was because it’s a smaller school. He doesn’t really like the bigger school type. Sidney had gone to a middle school that was a smaller school, just like MECA. This made the transition a natural switch for him.
“This school has been okay, but I don't have much to compare it to, except for comparing it to other high schools my older brother tells me about.” says Sidney, “It's a natural shift for a high school because of how small both schools are.”
Sidney is interested in Running Club and is participating with the school already. Another thing that really interests him is Journalism. That has been something he is looking into.
“Running Club starts today. That's interesting," he explains, "Journalism is something that I really wanted to take and wanted to look into for writing books and letters.”
