“I feel pretty excited about getting nominated for prom court. It’s my first time getting nominated for something like this so I’m sure it will be a cool experience. I’m excited for prom as I wasn’t able to go last year and it’s also exciting because it’s my senior year and I’m looking forward to seeing who wins. A fun fact about me is that I’m at Texas Roadhouse every week.”

Victoria Romero is a senior at Mt. SAC Early College Academy. This is her third year as a staff member of The Academy Chronicle. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, and playing with her cat. She values honesty and loyalty. She wishes to make the world a better place and help the future generation by being a teacher. Her goals at MECA are to graduate with a good GPA and go to a good college. She wants to move out of California and go to Oregon, where she will attend the University of Oregon. Victoria wants to major in education and move up to a teaching degree. She wants to be an elementary teacher.
