Everyone has that familiar face they have seen in either their home theater or movie theater, but which ones are the most standout leading or supporting roles of our generation? Let’s take a look.

Timothee Chalamet

In the obvious first place for actors, Timothee Chalamet comes out on top as the most noticeable actor of our generation. You may recognize him in his most popular movies, such as Dune, Wonka, Marty Supreme, and Lady Bird. Chalamet is a French-American actor who started his career in commercials and plays, which led him to his breakthrough role in the film Call Me by Your Name. With his strong character portrayals in all of his films, he has led him to several Oscar nominations and critically acclaimed performances.

Zendaya

To no surprise, Zendaya Coleman is the second one on the list of actors. You may have seen her in countless pieces of media, like Dune with her co-star Timothee Chalamet, her role as MJ in the Spider-Man franchise from 2017-now, she also played a major role in the hit series Euphoria. She started her career as a child actress on the Disney show Shake It Up, which was her breakthrough into the world of film and shows. It then later led her to getting two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.

Mckenna Grace

Since the age of five, Mckenna Grace has been on her rise to fame over the past decade, through film and TV shows. She’s begun making a name for herself since her TV show Crash & Bernstein. In more recent films, she has starred in Five Nights in Freddy’s 2, I, Tonya, Regretting You, and the 2021 Ghostbusters film series. She is a major nominee for countless awards, such as the Women Film Critics Circle and the Saturn Awards, along with winning the Hollywood Critics Association Film awards and being a runner-up for the San Diego Critics Society.

Owen Cooper

At the age of 15, Owen Cooper has already made history as the youngest male Primetime Emmy Awards winner in the series Adolescence, and not to long ago, he won the Golden Globe award for best supporting actor, also for Adolescence, which had gained widespread critical acclaim and attention as he landed a role in an upcoming movie Wuthering Heights, where he will be performing with major stars, like Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi and this will be an important part of his career, as he will get likely more booked for future film and TV roles.

While reflecting on the roles of these young stars across film and television, they have all gained recognition for their particular roles and strong performances. There’s no doubt that we will keep seeing these actors and actresses on the big screen in the upcoming years.
