CCR is a required course for MECA, but not a course required by the state of California or the West Covina Unified School District for graduation, which begs the question: why should we have to take it?

OPINION: Why should MECA freshmans take CCR?

When I came to MECA, I always wondered why we had CCR classes; I mean, who cares if you want to be a psychologist in the future? What if you changed your mind? Or would it actually help me in the future?
