Annika Wotherspoon is a current senior at Mt. SAC ECA and is currently in her fourth year on the TAC staff. She is most excited to work on informative writing and improving her photography skills. After high school, she plans on attending university for her bachelor’s in a journalism or sociology related major and being a Speech & Debate coach.

Growing up, I watched shows like Barney, He-Man, and Victorious and rewatched movies like The Parent Trap and Spy Kids. Even with these classic shows and movies, there have been subtle moments of sexualization of the female characters, whether it was through their clothing or particular lines.

In Melbourne, Australia, thousands took part in protests to show solidarity with protests that have broken out in Iran. The man is holding a photo of current Iranian leader, Ali Khamenei. He served time as president in October 1981 and reelected in 1985. He is considered a religious figure of some significance, Khamenei was generally addressed with the honorific Ayatollah.

The company DKB signed to Brave Entertainment was founded in 2008 after the CEO and main producer Brave Brothers or Kang Dong left YG Entertainment. Since then, the company has debuted groups like Brave Girls and Big Star. Brave Brothers is also known for producing songs for famous second-generation artists like Sunmi, Big Bang, Sistar, and AOA.
