Hailey Huizar is a Freshman here at MECA and she’s already very involved in the school, being a part of both the dance team, and ASB where she devotes most of her time. She is also a part of multiple clubs including Helping Hands as well as Timberwolves Changing Stigma. She is a very bright person who takes time in her academics.
Hailey has many interests and hobbies including music and leadership. She shared that she used to play instruments including guitar but doesn’t as often anymore.
She also shared some insight into her life at home. She is the oldest of three siblings, two sisters and one brother. In addition to her siblings, she also has a French Bulldog named Lady, two cats named Simba and Shiba, and a bunch of guppy fish.
As of now, she doesn’t know an exact college she would like to attend but she does know she wants to go to a University. For a career, she did say, “It would be cool to do something… in the psychology field”. She also said that she might like to be a veterinarian one day.
Though Hailey isn’t yet certain where she wants to go to college, being at Mt. SAC ECA will give her the opportunity to earn her AA and will definitely help her to have as many options as possible. Whatever Hailey’s future holds, it is sure to be great.
