Come one, come all to the Academic Booster Club cornhole tournament! The event will be hosted here at Mt. SAC Early College Academy in the field and south parking lot on November 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To enter a team, simply scan the QR code on their poster above. For students, the entry fee is $10 per team. For non-Booster Club members, the fee per team is $20, and the fee for Booster Club members is $15. Each team must have exactly two people to compete, no more and no less, and both players must be at least 13 years old.
Online registration ends November 5, but no need to fear; you can still register your team on the day of the tournament from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., but just note that the prices increase. The entry fee for MECA students remains at $10 but for non-Booster Club members, the fee goes up to $30, while the Booster Club member’s fee goes up to $20.
If you aren’t interested in participating, feel free to hang out! While the games are going on, there will be various vendors at the event selling food, treats, cups, jewelry, and much more!
The tournament winner will receive a cash prize that is 60% of the registration fee. So depending on how many teams join, you could win a lot of money. Second- and third-place winners will receive prize baskets that will be revealed at the event. So clear your schedules, bring your skills, and make way for the cornhole tournament!
