Albert Martinez is a freshman here at Mt. SAC ECA with a wide range of interests. He loves all sports with a special interest in both volleyball, football, and he also “ sometimes [boxes]”. 

Coming from Shield of Faith Christian School, he brings both his faith and passion for education with him as he starts this highschool journey. He plans on majoring in project engineering for construction in college. Though he isn’t too sure of which college he wants to attend, he hopes to have an idea by the end of freshman year. He is also planning on getting his Associate’s Degree while he’s at MECA.

While Albert is passionate about academics, he has also always loved sports. He’s even on MECA’s 2024-25 flag football team. He hopes to be on the volleyball team which he was in middle school. He made many accomplishments during middle school, one of them being Valedictorian. He hopes to continue his good academic life all throughout high school. 

It’s important to have different interests and another one of Albert’s is music. He plays many instruments including guitar, drums, piano and bass guitar. He’s been playing music since he was 9 years old and hopes to continue playing. He said he likes playing instruments because he “[enjoys] learning  different songs”.

Albert has many different talents and he definitely has a good future ahead of him.
