Sabrina’s brand new hit song Espresso is definitely living up to the hype!

Sabrina Carpenter is a 24-year-old singer and actress. She started to blow up back in 2022 on social media with her single “Nonsense.” I´m a very big fan of the song like many people. Recently back in November, she released a Christmas album Fruitcake. Fans were not expecting a brand-new album, however, they are definitely not complaining about it!

Another surprise we got from Sabrina is when she released her brand new song “Espresso” on April 11th, right along with a music video the next day. Upon first listen I could already grasp the fact that this was gonna be on repeat constantly. The lyrics are fun and very upbeat which reflected the same carefree essence that “Nonsense” has. Sabrina delivers amazing tracks when it comes to dancing and summer energy songs.

The music video is one of Sabrina´s best! I might even go as far as to say that this music video is better than “Nonsense” and the ¨Feather¨ videos. Feather is another Sabrina single that went extremely viral.

We are introduced to Sabrina in a stunning white dress driving a boat. Only three seconds into the music video you can already sense the carefree, vacation, summer ambiance. Sabrina continues to dance and tan on the beach along with a bunch of female background dancers all doing the same thing. Boys also very much pursue her and the other girls. I noticed that this seems to be an occurring pattern with Sabrina´s music videos. This same sort of being desired and sought after is in the “Feather” music video and “Almost Love,” which is one of Sabrina´s older releases. I do like this concept she puts in her music video because it is overall entertaining to watch, and she does it so well in her videos.

Alicia Flores says, “I have loved Sabrina ever since Girl Meets World, I´ve been following her on Instagram since.” When asked what it was about Sabrina that caught her attention, she said, “Her style stands out amongst other singers. I also like how she embraces femininity.” I completely agree with everything Alicia says. I myself really love Sabrina´s style and that too was initially the thing that drew me toward her music.

Sabrina also decided to announce and release “Espresso” right before Coachella. As of now, she has performed it live at her first Coachella performance. The performance is just as fun as the song itself which is very impressive on her part considering the heat of Indio (where Coachella is located). Her outfits are also very well thought out. They reflect her entertaining spirit and just add to the element of wanting to dance. She goes on stage wearing a white mini-dress with what I’m guessing are feathers on her skirt. I think it is cute considering it is a reference to her song “Feather.”

Espresso has only been out for 2 weeks now and it is already her number one top-streamed single on Spotify and has reached 15 million views on YouTube, and is trending on many other entertainment platforms.

Overall it is safe to say that Sabrina Carpenter is one of the next big artists when it comes to pop! I´m so glad she has reached this much fame and her music and talent are finally getting the recognition it deserves.

"I want to major in Creative Writing, so I want to take classes that will help me achieve that goal," said Gianna. Her passion for writing is almost equal to her passion for reading!  Gianna gushes, "My favorite books are 'Where the Crawdads Sing,' 'The Row,' 'Where The Red Fern Grows,' 'Echo in the Darkness,' and 'A Voice in The Wind'." Gianna loves these books because they are very detailed and mysterious. Like a roller coaster, it provides thrill and surprise at every turn. Gianna's favorite genre of books is inspirational fiction, and she is a reborn Christian Believer (most of her books teach a biblical story). Her bucket list is to become a well-known author and to have a cute little family with a cat. She loves the joy and affection her own family shows her and wishes to share it with her kids too. She loves animals, and currently, she owns a dog named Mico. In the future, however, she wants a cat too.
