Rising K-pop boy group BLITZERS, formerly known as WUZO CIRCLE, is having a U.S. tour from February 5th to the 17th, 2022. The group will be visiting the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, New York, and Chicago. BLITZERS will perform at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

“I’m personally really excited to attend their concert in LA,” said long-time international fan Sam. “I’ve been a fan of them for almost 2 years now, and just thinking about being able to see them in-person is just mind boggling.”

BLITZERS is a 7-member boy group consisting of Go_U, Juhan, Jinhwa, Sya, Chris, Lutan, and Wooju, who debuted on May 12, 2021 with their EP album, ‘CHECK-IN’. Less than a year of their debut, the group has achieved many things. The group won the “Group Rookie Award” at the 27th Korea Entertainment Arts Awards Ceremony, as well as receiving the Focus Award at the 2021 AAA (Asia Artist Awards).

“Becoming a fan has definitely added a bit of excitement to my life… There’s just something special about them. They have drawn me in. I laugh with them, cry with them, etc. They have impacted my life by giving me a new love,” said U.S.A. fan Audrey.

VIP and general admission tickets are available at AXS.com until January 29, 2022. General admission ticket holders will be able to experience just the concert. While VIP ticket holders will be receiving gifts such as signed posters, key rings, VIP laminates, and the chance to experience a Hi-touch with the BLITZERS members. BLITZERS international fan Liv said, “I was a little sad because I’m not from the US and so I won’t be able to attend but I’m really happy for them… But I do hope that everything will go without any problem so that both Blitzers and Blee can enjoy the concert to the maximum!”

In an interview with NAVER, leader Choi Jinhwa talked about performances that fans should expect to see. He stated, “We’re preparing for the concert with this album [referring to their latest single ‘BOBBIN’ which was released on January 3, 2022] and the previous albums as the main theme, and we’re preparing performances for the b-side tracks and individual performances that we couldn’t show during our album activities, so look forward to it.”

Many fans across many different social media platforms expressed their excitement for the upcoming concerts. “The full-blown excitement is still there now, but I’m worried. I’m worried about COVID and them being a small group going on a big tour,” said Audrey. Others expressed their concerns that the upcoming concerts will be canceled due to members or their staff members contracting COVID-19. Recently, K-pop group VERIVERY was touring in the U.S. and, sadly, had to cancel the day of their concert due to a member contracting COVID-19. Sam added, saying, “It’s really dangerous now with COVID. A lot of us are careful about who we interact with and staying clean and sanitizing, but we can’t take any risks… Everyone is hoping that we all stay safe. Not only for our idols, but also for the people we care about.”

For the upcoming LA show, all attendees must show proof of vaccination, wear their mask properly, and maintain social distance.
