Time Oat: Oat Milk is the Best Milk!
I have had my fair share of drinks in my lifetime, and milk is one of them. Milk played a huge part in my life, mostly because it kept me alive as an infant. It’s also the only drink that I could have all throughout elementary school.
Some would even call me a Milk Connoisseur! (No wait, that sounds lame.) A Savant of Dairy Products! (No just- wait a minute I’m talking about oat milk!) Well, whatever I am, I can for sure tell you that oat milk is one of the best milk out there.
Oat milk is my favorite milk because the taste is overall better to me. I don’t drink milk too often anymore and rarely get it at the supermarket, but if I had to choose between dairy and oat milk, it’s no competition.
It contains a lot of proteins which would help in lowering cholesterol and help muscle growth. It would also help you by having your metabolism be increased and would help you feel fuller longer. This would mean that it would help in weight loss as you have less of an appetite. I usually eat a snack before a workout and this would be a benefit to me.
This milk would also give you lots of Vitamin B12 to your diet. B12 helps the blood and nerves in your body to become healthy. It would also give you a ton of Riboflavin and help maintain your body’s energy supply.
Vegans can also drink oat milk as it is a plant-based alternative to dairy milk. It is also a popular choice of milk in cafes as it gets creamy when it is hot and is very good with coffee or lattes. I don’t drink coffee, but when I do, I drink coffee with oat milk. I’m obviously the most interesting man in the world. (Fun fact: I’ve drank coffee three times in my life and one was with oat milk.)
People with nut allergies can drink oat milk instead of others like almond milk, cashew milk, and hazelnut milk. Even people with lactose intolerance can drink oat milk as it is naturally free of lactose, soy, and nuts. (Hey, I know tons of people who have those allergies!) You are correct, thoughts in my head! Another reason why oat milk is the best!
Time Oat though!(Get it? Wink Wink) Oat milk is high in carbs and like all food items in this world you would like to drink it in moderation. Also sadly, people with gluten intolerance would want to avoid this milk as it is not always gluten free.
At the end of the day, there are so many different types of milk with different benefits. Almond milk is good for the skin, coconut milk helps with cholesterol, and hemp milk has a lot of good fats in it. Ultimately, oat milk is a very good choice if you’re going on a diet or planning to workout, want some more vitamins and protein in your diet, or just looking for a better alternative to milk (Hey, I should get some milk after this).
