You see the light at the end of the hall, and you think all the horror is coming to an end, then… SPLASH! Blood splatters on you. That’s what this year’s new Terrifier house is offering this year at Halloween Horror Nights: Are you brave enough to give it a try?
What is Halloween Horror Nights?
Halloween Horror Nights is an annual Halloween-themed event that happens at the Universal Studios theme parks. This “scare-a-thon” event showcases many haunted houses that are usually based on movies, shows, and even video games.. They also have scare zones, where actors jump out and scare you.
Step inside the Terrifier House
“Fans of this franchise are expecting us to go places that they don’t think we´re going to go, so our job is to take them there,” said John Murdy, director of creative development and executive show producer of entertainment at Universal Studios Hollywood.
From Sept. 4 to Nov. 2, Art the Clown is inviting us into his funhouse to see his deranged art, testing your ability to try to escape from being his next victim. Upon entering, guests will also face the overwhelming smells, grotesque scenes, and killings as they enter his funhouse.
Inside are his most gruesome “art projects” taken straight from Terrifier 2.
Some scenes include his Silly Saws, where participants view just how he can rip apart the human body, and the Dolly Molly, which showcases how Art turns his victim into living dolls.
If you pay attention, you might also see some familiar faces from the movie, lingering around the funhouse. You’re then led to Art’s bloody and gruesome Clown Cafe, where terror brews in a grotesque bathroom and holiday cheer turns into a Christmas nightmare.
But be on the lookout for Art! You never know where he might just come out.
When you get towards the end of the walkthrough, and you think the scares and surprises are over, blood rains down! A special mixture of colored water comes from an array of water nozzles to mimic the blood that Art took from his victims.
Even if you manage to escape his funhouse, don’t think the terrors are over. Just because you managed to escape doesn’t mean you should let your guard down. Art the Clown is always around.
What might happen in the future?
I hope that in the near future they will make a house based on the fourth movie. It would really interest me because this fourth movie will be the last Terrifier of the franchise, and it’s definitely going to be one bloody work, so I would love to see how they would portray it in a Halloween Horror Nights house.
Future Hopes
My future hopes for this house are that they continue this for all the movies of the Terrifier franchise, since this one is basically set in the Terrifier 2 house. I hope to see more of the franchise in Halloween Horror Nights later on, as disturbing as this one is. I also hope the next ones are even more grotesque and demonstrate more of how Art kills, and they put more of his gruesome killings.

Ultimately, the Halloween Horror Nights Terrifier house is super disturbing, gory, disgusting, but also amusing. With all its unique scenes to the stenches you will face to escape Art the Clown’s funhouse, it’s going to be one amazing haunted house that you should definitely check out.
